Our friend Ashley Weis asked me to write something for her blog about the limits of Internet filtering. She regularly interacts with women who are heartbroken over their husbands’ use of pornography. Her story and blog posts have been a great encouragement to many Christian women. Thanks, Ashley, for a chance to talk about bridging the gap between technology and relationships.
Read the short article: “Why Internet filters aren’t enough“
Just a reminder, that anyone who can do any computer programming can get around even the filters that are not on your own computer, like Covenant Eyes filter.
Anyone who can program, can hide all their tracks of use; bypass any filter, delete history.
So it’s back to the same thing. We cannot control the Porn Addict, we cannot change the PA, we cannot be accountability partners for the PA. The only way I can know my computer progamming PA is using is when God makes it clear to me.
