Oops, I commented before I read what I was supposed to say. Ellen Dykas came to our church with Harvest USA. It was wonderful to hear such a different perspective on sexuality and response to sexual brokenness than what you typically see today.
The only woman that has ever helped me with this struggle is Our Lady because I really think that she’s the only one I have ever openned my heart truthfully.
The other one is my best friend Maria Esther who has never patronized me for who I am and what i’ve done and i’m really thankful for that.

A dear friend of mine, I will call her Joy (not her real name). I haven’t struggled so much myself in this area as much as desiring real intimacy while remaining pure and single.
Several years ago, a group of women at my church started a ministry called “For Girls Only” to help women dealing with areas of sexual sin. We had regular meetings for awhile and that support system was invaluable to me. Sadly, the group fizzled out after a year or so.
My small group girls at church have been instrumental in my recovery. Still on the road, but being open and honest with them has been key!
