Being new to the whole spouse of a porn user world, I would keep one myself. As for the rest, I would give a couple to the local public library, one for my church library, one for our ministers to use when helping those who have fallen into the porn world, one for our Adult faith formation director, one for my counselor and his office, and as for the rest I would leave them in random places for people to pick up.
i would use this program to augment the POWER OF LORD GOD ON OUR EVERY LIVES BY SHARING IT AMONGST MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CHURCH , CHRISTIAN FRIENDS ESPECIALLY THE YOUNG so that the have ROCK SOLID FOUNDATION IN LORD GOD WHICH IS UNSHAKEABLE AND CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING ANY EVIL STORM WHICH STRIKE AT IT .FURTHERMORE USE THIS MATERIAL TO AMPLIFY UNDERSTANDING OF THE HOLY WORD OF GOD , SO TO BE WELL PREPARED TO HELP PPL OUT OF THIS MENACE AND PRAY THAT ALONG WITH THEM WOULD BE ABLE TO ROOT THIS EVIL OUT OF OUR VERY LIVES AND GLORIFY OUR LORD GOD
The peace be with you.
As a single men who’s going thru vocational discernment knows now the importance of the virtue of chastity. I have been having the chance to talk to a youth ministry in Los Angeles, CA (the epicenter of porn). I do know how big the issue of porn addiction is. I want to help the youth on this issue and I know this material will be helpful and useful to learn it first, then to share it with the people that need help.
God bless you and thank you for sharing this material.
Ora et labora.
Nunc coepi.
There are a group of mothers from our church whom have purchased family resources and are trying to establish a library within our church for families. I would, of course, read them first, then pass them onto the other ladies in the group and finally add them to the supply at the church for creating a library that everyone can benefit from irregardless of their financial ability to purchase resources.
I am the pastor at St. Matthias Parish in Crown Point, Indiana. The parish’s Peace and Social Justice Commission has been trying to work against society’s trends and informing the parish and local community of the harm that pornography does to an individual and to society. Our deacon has preached about it, they have organized rallies and handed out literature to our parishioners. It is interesting that at the first rally we found a partner in this cause in the local Sikh religion.
As with everyone else that is dealing with this topic good resources are difficult to come by. St. Matthias Parish would use these resources for study by our commission, offer night to come see these resources and make these items available to other local organizations that want to deal with this problem.
I am currently working on pursuing Family Ministry in my church. There is a great need to give discipleship in our churches back to our families. These would be valuable resources to have for families to use, but as well as I plan yearly seminars for enabling parents to disciple their children. We would be able to take time and teach internet accountability and open up the families in our church to deeper conversations.
I’m a Christianity teacher for grades 3 to 8 in a local school and this will be an ideal gift for some of the kids in the upper grades :D
One of your articles on the blog helped today to counsel a couple on porn. The guy did not see it as a problem, and the woman was tired of being used as a fantasy toy. We are a pregnancy help center, so this issue was outside my expertise. However, God used the opportunity to bring the woman to Christ. The man is now open to learning how porn damages families and relationships. I would love these resources, and would love to use them to teach men the TRUTH about porn. I want to be apart of restoring families.
I recently shared my testimony at church and have had a lot of people come up to me for help and advice. If I wont this bundle I would share them with these people who need help for either themselves or their family!
I would give one copy to my boyfriend, one for my 18 year old brother, 1 for my brother in law, 1 for my dad and the rest, I would distribute among catholic institutions, strip clubs, local parrish and sports bars. This is very close to my heart since I’m trying to support my boyfriend to overcome his addiction. Healing is difficult, but I think that helping others realize about the problem, can also be useful for me, for my boyfriend and for other people I may encounter my way that are suffering from the same issue.
