Wow. God given resources. I would keep one for myself and my son. The rest I would give to the men in my church for them and there sons. And one for church book shelf for shared resource. Thank you for your offer. I pray that whoever wins this offer will be blessed beyond measure.
I would use these materials for my church’s purity group. They would be a most welcome tool!
I have 3 sons: a 15-almost-16 year old who is preparing for confirmation, a 14-year old who is entering puberty, and a 6-year old. I believe these resources will equip me with talking points for the two older boys, & the books would be great confirmation gift. I’ve been thinking and praying for God to open a door so I can start this conversation with them. I will give the other copies to the parish youth religious ed classes, as well as some friends whom I know would benefit.
We all need it don’t we? I lead a group of 15 men in my church that have been devastated or struggle with pornography. We need all the armor we can gather and all the weapons available to fight this blight of sin and restore families and relationships. How many more than our 15 in a church of nearly 6,000 or in our city need to join our group? Not only do we fight against the sin and bondage of pornography but we need to find Christ more alluring than all the passions the world throws at us. May God continue to bless us as we strive to obey and follow Him.
about 5 months ago I began to study biblical sexuality in depth in preparation for a 5 week course that I am teaching in my church (Baptist) during the sunday school hour. The men and women are separated, and we have about 50-70 attending each class. Because this is so appropriate for exactly what we are studying right now (men are doing a hard look at pornography, women are studying biblical definition of sexuality and marriage, erotica and porn in women, what to do when a loved one is involved with porn, and how to keep sexual intimacy alive in marriage.) I would use these gifts as a special give-a-way.
My husband and I are teaching 7th and 8th grade Sunday school and are currently working to create a chastity program for them from scratch using TOB material. We would use these materials in our class and give them out to the students.
I would give them away to the various churches in my small town, for them to use in their classes with the young men and fathers. Porn leads to the rape culture. It needs to be stopped in its tracks, not normalized.
I’m the High School catechism at our parish and I see this program as a great opportunity no only for our parish but others and possibly Protestant churches. I live in a small town which has one Catholic Church and several Protestant churches. I would like to present the material to our parish along with 9 other churches. Pornography is an issue that affects all churches. If the content is too ‘Catholic’, which it doesn’t sound to be, then I would use the material at Catholic churches in Northeastern Colorado. If it is used at non Catholic Churches not only do I see a great opportunity to open peoples eyes about pornography but also the Truthes of the Catholic Church. Thank you for your ministry.
I would spread them out among the various ministries that I work in so that students, fathers, parents and those already on the slopes of addiction would have a fighting chance against this horrible tragedy that is destroying our culture.
I am involved with two men’s groups–one a Bible study which my quadriplegic friend and I lead and the other a Bible study / men’s support group and I would give them to men in these groups. A younger Christian brother, a man in his mid 30s, asked me to mentor him, and I would share with him as well.
Covenant Eyes has been a immense blessing in my new life as a widower. Thanks
