Unfiltered Kit

Win 10 Bundles Worth $25 Each

Each bundle includes…

UNFILTERED: Equipping Parents for an Ongoing Conversation about Internet Pornography ($15.00) – This DVD is a parent workshop all about Internet safety and preparing children for our pornified culture. The film has been played in schools, churches, and in the living rooms of concerned parents. The DVD includes top Catholic voices speaking on the subject of pornography. Included with this DVD is the book, UNFILTERED: Protecting Your Family Online, a practical how-to guide on Internet safety.

Delivered: True Stories of Men and Women who Turned from Porn to Purity ($8.96) – In this book you’ll read the stories of nine people whose lives were once devastated by pornography and how they found freedom in Christ.

Bought with a Price: Every Man’s Duty to Protect Himself and His Family from a Pornographic Culture ($1.00) – Bishop Paul Loverde first issued this pastoral letter six years ago, and recently it has been rereleased, updated and expanded. Covenant Eyes spokesman Matt Fradd, who was asked to write the foreword for this letter, says it “could not have come at a more critical time.”

Comment Below to Win

What would you do with 10 bundles? Who would you give them to? How would you personally use the resources? Tell us below. We’ll choose the best comments as the winners.

Last day to comment is April 1, 2014, at 11:59pm. We will announce the winner on April 3.

  1. Adam

I believe this gift would be inspirational to me and many people around me. I have seen these give away events on Covenant Eyes before and didn’t enter in any of them. The reason being, I would read through some of the reasons why people were entering and knew that they needed the great gifts and tools more I than I did. I realized they would be able to put them to better use. On this give away however, I believe there is a true need for these tools in my area. Being a high school boy myself, I know people and friends that struggle with this temptation. I believe with a sincere heart that I would be able to put these tools in the right hands to make a difference in peoples lives and I want to make a difference in their lives and support them to become better children of God. So to answer your question, I would give these to my peers, my spiritual directors, and use them myself to become a loving resource of support and understanding for others as they struggle with this temptation, and, God willing, be given the grace to help lead them out of it forever.

  2. B Merrill

I would use them for our family of 9 and distribute the rest to our extended family and church.

  3. Kathy

I would give to the local parishes and community groups in our area with the hope of reaching as many as possible while keeping one within our home for our children and to share with other families.

  4. Jason Izolt

As a recovering porn addict, myself, I would first utilize the material to further my own recovery. Secondly, as a catechist in my parish, I would speak to my DRE about the possibility of offering a chastity presentation in my parish emphasizing the dangers of pornography using the materials available in this bundle. With ten of them, it would give us the opportunity to offer it multiple times per year (and multiple sessions) – the way we typically offer Bible studies and other Adult Faith Formation opportunities.

  5. With having young boys, this would be a great tool for myself and my friends. Hoping I win;) Thank you for this wonderful offer.

  6. David

    1) I would put several on the band stands of my fellow classmates who I know are having a hard time with seeing others through the eyes of Christ modestly.

    2) I would put a copy in a neighbor’s mailbox

    3) I would put one on top of the “dirty” magazines at the store

    4) I would put one next to the coffee cups at work with a sticky note saying, “take me!”

    5) I would donate a few to my youth group library for materials of lessons they can plan and that other youth can check out and read

    6) I would give one to the next waiter or waitress that I have at a restaurant

    7) I would give one to the next person I see dressed immodestly in public

    8) I would put a copy in the bookshelf of a library with the really inappropriate books (adult section :D)

  7. Kevin

I would hand them out at the local University at our next SPSE outing. Today’s college students are our future and if our future continues using porn then they are no better than us. Hopefully we can stop this epidemic as it is only getting more difficult for the younger generations to stay pure.

  8. Dustin

I would take and put two in local university’s Catholic Student Center. Then I would take the remaining and place them in each of the four local Catholic Churches in my area.

  9. Adine Santos

I will use it as reference and share it with my community/parish. I am an expatriate working in the Middle East and have recently discovered my calling to push for purity in my community – Light of Jesus UAE, and to anyone who cares to listen. My childhood experience and ongoing struggles has led me to believe that this is an important cause to pursue. Isaiah 49:9 I will say to the prisoners, ‘Go free!’ and to those who are in darkness, ‘Come back to the Light!’

Statistics show that as many as 64% of church-going men of all ages and 34% of church-going women ages 18-30 look at porn regularly.1 Unfortunately, accountability is largely absent from the church today. Most Christians are not accountable to their churches or anyone in them. According to Barna, only 5% of…
