I would use the information in these awesome resources personally to help my three sons live holiness and avoid the pitfalls of sexual sin. For the other copies, I would share copies with my friends/other parents, all the priests in our deanery, Principal of our Catholic School, and our our parish DREs. My hope would be that they can not only be educated themselves, but through their ministries they can help as many families as possible and then share the information they’ve learned with others in ministry leadership positions.
With 10 bundles, I would set up a cycle in which they would be shared throughout my parish, and then perhaps even through other nearby parishes. I would reserve one bundle for the Confirmation program and our Youth program, which I help with, and the other nine bundles would be loaned to nine different households every two weeks. In that manner, these bundles could be introduced to all 350 families in my parish in almost exactly 18 months. Imagine, within less than two years, the parish could experience a renewal like never before… Thank you so much for your generosity, I shall continue to pray for you.
I teach teens of 15-16 years of age in Sunday School in my Parish. This would be excellent materials to teach my Sunday school children. Teens are at the age of curiousity and rebellious and the internet is so accessible for them to see all porns and temptations of sex. Covenant eyes would be great to use to teach them to respect their bodies. I would also share them with all the Sunday School teachers, facilitators, coordinators and volunteers. I would also like to give to the youth Minister of my parish and the pastors.
As someone who struggles with Same Sex Attractions (SSA) and has battled addictions to pornography and masturbation for over 15 years, I can truly appreciate the authentic freedom that comes with chastity. I would keep one bundle for myself as a spiritual aid in challenges to personal purity. The rest, I would give to my friends who have embraced the gay sub culture and abandoned God and chastity. It’s time I stop burying my friends. Pray for me. Pax et bonum.
My son was abused as a young child, and now as he grows we have major concerns about protecting his heart and mind from pornography. We would love more resources and would share it in our huge faith and homeschooling community. Thank you!
I serve as a catechist, and also as a mentor for several young people. I would take the time to share these materials with them — especially with one teenager whom I mentor, and whom I know struggles in this area. I know his parents would deeply appreciate this as well. Often such programs, while excellent, are financially difficult for those who most need them. I would love to be able to make these available to those in most need; without regard to cost.
I would use the materials to develop a comprehensive program at my parish that 1. Educates adults, 2. Educates youth and 3. Fosters dialogue between the groups.
If there are any left that are being given away, I’d be very honoured to have a copy of these. I am passionate about this and want my household to have these types of resources at hand.
Wow, thanks for this opportunity! I would start with using a copy in my home now that I have a 17yo. Then I would give a copy to our youth minister at our parish, along with a copy to our Pastor and Assoc. Pastor. Lastly, I would give the remaining copies to all of the seminarians that I know that are currently being ordained to the Diaconate and Priesthood this coming May. God bless your ministry!
I’m part of a group called Conquerors through Christ (www.conquerorsthroughchrist.net) who speaks to church groups and works with pastors in their struggles against porn. I am personally a Seminary student training to do this work and would use the material to further my education so I can help others as I work with Conquerors through Christ and would distribute the materials to my brothers at the Seminary who are struggling or simply want to be equipped to deal with this in their ministries.
