“Modesty Week” on Covenant Eyes Radio – Episode 119
[powerpress]
How can fathers in the church encourage modesty in their daughters? How can men in the church play a dynamic role in shaping the hearts of young women to desire modesty?
In our roundtable discussion we have four special guests to help us unpack this topic:
- Rachel Lee Carter and her husband Daryl – Rachel has been a professional model for more than 20 years, represented by top-tier modeling agencies worldwide. She is also the president of Modeling Christ, a ministry addressing the issues of modesty and purity in a culture influenced by the fashion industry.
- Alyssa Shull and her husband Matt – Alyssa is the founder of The Pink Lid, a weekend program specifically for teenage girls that addresses the subject of beauty, fashion, purity, and modesty.
Listen to the other episodes: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3
Music for today’s podcast is “Teach Me Your Ways” by Ish.

What i mean by controlled: keep families together and strengthen relationships, know where your kids are and who they’re with, etc….you know….DONT BE A BOOR
I believe it’s always the men who should regulate on what their girls wear, in love of course. Women could ‘try’ to do it, but it isn’t her place. When i was a teen in the mid 70s, this was the time when everyone was going around BRALESS–my dad wouldn’t LET me go around like that, and he wasn’t a Christian at the time. to this day, i would not go around like that. MEN, YOU HAVE TO STEP UP ON THIS —as i’m speaking out today, 53% of ALL AMERICAN WOMEN are having children OUT OF WEDLOCK!! think about this: those children will be having babies young and destroying out ECONOMY even faster I was talking to a middle-class lady, she took her 13 yo niece to school and saw that 3 children in her nieces 13 yo class ARE PREGNANT!. No one, no matter how educated will ever find decent work UNTIL this problem is controlled.
Hi Luke,
Are you able to contact me? I’m wanting to talk to you about a documentary I’m developing on porn addiction. Thanks.
@Jason – I’ll shoot you an e-mail today. Thanks for getting in touch with me.
